Mensaje de Tony a III Encuentro Internacional de Jóvenes en Solidaridad con los Cinco

Queridos participantes en el III Encuentro Juvenil Internacional de Solidaridad:

Cuando uno lee la prensa de este país o cuando uno mira algunos de sus canales de televisión, se pregunta, por que nunca se ha hablado de nuestro caso. Por ejemplo, el The New York Times, siempre habla de procesos judiciales que tienen lugar dentro del área de esa gran ciudad y dentro del país, igual sucede con otros periódicos importantes. Medios televisivos dedican horas y horas a seguir noticias relacionadas con asuntos de las cortes y hasta se ven las imágenes de los juicios.

Si, de nuestro arresto y de algunas cosas que sucedieron en la Corte de Miami se hablo en un medio de prensa, el Miami Herald, pero, que hablaron, quienes lo escribieron, por que lo hicieron.

Yo me imagino que ustedes deben conocer sobre nuestro ultimo recurso legal en el que hemos llevado ante la misma jueza que nos sentencio, la jueza Lenard, el resultado de un trabajo de investigación que hizo el Comité Nacional por nuestra liberación en los Estados Unidos, sobre esos periodistas que se dedicaban a escribir artículos inflamatorios en contra nuestra, para influir sobre la opinión publica y en consecuencia sobre el jurado. Todo ello violando no solo la ética periodística, sino las leyes de este país.

Pero la verdad jamás podrá ser silenciada. La razón jamás podrá ser destruida.

Una gigantesca ola de solidaridad nos acompaña, alzando la verdad y alzando la razón, y ustedes los jóvenes tienen la fuerza, la inteligencia y la capacidad de impulsar esa ola hasta que se logre hacer justicia.

Eternamente agradecidos de su apoyo, llegue a todos cinco abrazos fuertes desde cinco prisiones estadounidenses.

El III Encuentro Juvenil Internacional de Solidaridad con Los Cinco y que difundirá al mundo la verdad sobre los antiterroristas cubanos prisioneros en Estados Unidos hace casi 13 años, inicia hoy en La Habana su programa de tres días.

Los casi 200 delegados de unas 40 naciones participantes en la cita bianual, visitarán este sábado un proyecto cultural comunitario del artista de la plástica José Rodríguez, Fúster, quien apoya la causa de Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González, Antonio Guerrero y René González.

La causa de los Cinco, ya no es la causa de Cuba sino de millones de personas del mundo y une a todos los jóvenes. Por tanto, el evento, donde participan delegados de diversas regiones del mundo, resulta muy relevante en momentos de integración y próximo al surgimiento de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños.

Está previsto además el desarrollo de una conferencia sobre el caso por parte de la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular, y la presentación del grupo de teatro infantil La Colmenita con la obra Abracadabra.

Cuatro talleres mostrarán las experiencias regionales en defensa de los Cinco, el uso de las nuevas tecnologías en ese sentido, diversas caricaturas del llamado Humor Rebelde, y criterios desde los más jóvenes en torno a cultura y nación.

Como colofón, del III Encuentro Juvenil Internacional de Solidaridad con los Cinco antiterroristas cubanos, el 13 de junio, a partir de las 9:00 y con acceso por la dirección electrónica desde el sitio http://www.foros.cubava.cu, acontecerá el foro interactivo “Libertad ahora, fin de la injusticia. ¡Libérenlos ya!”.

Este espacio propiciará a los delegados y otras personas aclararse en torno al tema de los Cinco y la causa que ya defendemos millones de personas del mundo. Convocatoria al Foro Interactivo del III Encuentro Juvenil Internacional de Solidaridad con Los Cinco Héroes cubanos prisioneros en Estados Unidos

Desde mañana y hasta el 13 del presente mes, se realizará en Cuba el III Encuentro Juvenil Internacional de Solidaridad con los Cinco antiterroristas cubanos injustamente presos en los Estados Unidos hace más de doce años.

El evento que se realiza cada dos años, prevé la participación de más de 180 delegados de 36 países, quienes reafirmarán como en otras ocasiones, el apoyo a la causa de Gerardo Hernández, Fernando González, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino y René González.

En el programa del evento los delegados podrán intercambiar con los familiares de los Cinco, además de actualizarse sobre del proceso legal y la campaña que a nivel mundial se realiza en favor de estos valerosos hombres, víctimas del odio del Imperio hacia Cuba.

Los delegados participarán además en talleres de la plástica que tienen como objetivo mostrar en los expositores, las experiencias regionales en defensa de los Cinco y del uso de las nuevas tecnologías con la puesta de caricaturas del llamado Humor Rebelde.

Ramón: En tu cumpleaños 48, la Patria te contempla orgullosa

Hoy 9 de junio, Ramón Labañino, cumple 48 años, doce de ellos tras las rejas en cárceles estadounidenses de alta seguridad. Sin embargo, al otro lado de los barrotes que lo encarcelan, están los hombres y mujeres en el mundo que cada día exigen al presidente Obama su libertad y la de sus cuatro compañeros.

Este día, ninguna de las tres hijas de Ramón, pudieron ir a acariciarle el amanecer con un beso en la mejilla o un Felicidades, papá!, acorde a sus dimensiones de gigante . De igual manera, su amante esposa no podría ofrecerle el platillo que saboreara cada cumpleaños.

Junto a Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González y René González, Ramón Labañino, es acusado injustamente por tratar de salvar la vida de seres humanos no solo en Cuba sino también en Estados Unidos, pero al igual que sus cuatro hermanos de lucha, mantiene en alto sus convicciones revolucionarias y valores morales que jamás podrán ser encerrados.

La firmeza y el heroísmo están implícitos en su alegato de defensa cuando proclamó: "Llevaré el uniforme de recluso con el mismo honor y orgullo con que un soldado lleva sus más preciadas insignias." Al mismo tiempo que expresó: “ en ningún momento Los Cinco habían buscado información que pusiera en peligro la seguridad nacional de Estados Unidos”.

Desbordado amor paternal tienen sus misivas a sus hijas, que evidencian su calidad de padre ejemplar. Y cito: "Sepan que hube de marchar por el amor a ustedes y a todos. Que donde quiera que he estado y estaré, ustedes siempre están y estarán presentes."

Hoy no tendrás un amanecer cálido, ni familiar, Ramón, pero estoy completamente segura de que no despertaste solo, junto a ti están el anhelado beso y el abrazo de tus seres queridos, y la convicción de que cada día, la Patria lo contempla orgullosa.

Juristas cubanos: escudo en la defensa de nuestra legalidad socialista

Cada 8 de junio se celebra en Cuba el Día del Jurista para homenajear la fecha, que, 1865, el Mayor General de las guerras de independencia contra el colonialismo español, Ignacio Agramante y Loynaz desarrolló su tesis de Grado para recibirse como Licenciado en Derecho Civil y Canónico en la Universidad de La Habana.

El mayor, como también se le conocía a este insigne patriota puso al servio de la libertad de la Patria sus conocimientos, lo que le dio más fuerza a su propósito de servir a la Revolución. Participó en la redacción de la primera constitución de Cuba en Armas, la de Guáimaro y fue elegido secretario de la asamblea constituyente.

Ignacio Agramonte, portador de dos de los atributos que caracterizan a nuestros juristas, el honor y la Justicia y hombre de ideas avanzadas y una vasta cultura, posee el mérito de haber escrito el primer texto de Derecho Constitucional en Latinoamérica, excelente material de consulta.

Los juristas en Cuba, inspirados en el ejemplo de El Mayor y defensores de la legalidad, se funden en un solo pensamiento y cada día se enfrentan, junto a nuestro pueblo, a las manifestaciones de delito, corrupción y otras infracciones.

La dignidad con que laboran estos hombres y mujeres, que día a día combaten el delito y la corrupción, desde los tribunales o la fiscalía, representan el escudo en la defensa de nuestra legalidad socialista.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONGRESS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE FIVE CUBAN HEROES UNJUSTLY IMPRISONED IN UNITED STATES JAILS.

The Young Communist League, on behalf of every youth movement and student organization in our country, summons the youth and students associations, and in general every young men or women with good will in the World, to unite, as in many occasions, for the defense of truth and justice.

The struggle for the release of this Five Heroes from prison represents a battle for the truth and against terrorism. The objective is to break the wall of silence imposed by the government of the United States to public opinion on this matter, to denounce the manipulation and the lie of a biased and unjust trial and to demand the immediate freedom of our five brothers.

Imperialism continues to level all its disdain against human dignity with total irrationality; arbitrarily ignores all the statements from international organizations and creates all kinds of legal and political barriers that hinder the finding of a solution to free the Five. Only actual mobilization of public opinion will make possible the necessary influence to achieve the justice our people is fighting for today.

Humanity is living a critical moment of its history and we as the youth are responsible for this victory for the sake of the future.
This forum will be in favor of five men that combine the highest values of dignity, altruism, courage and solidarity.

We invite you all to celebrate this event on June 12th, and 13th, 2011, celebrating the 3rd International Youth Congress in Solidarity, in Havana, Cuba.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONGRESS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE FIVE CUBAN HEROES UNJUSTLY IMPRISONED IN UNITED STATES JAILS

• The 3rd International Youth Congress in Solidarity with the Cuban Five will be celebrated from June 11th to 14th, 2011.
• The delegates will arrive on June 11th, and return on June 14th.
• The visas to be granted in each Cuban Consulate or Embassy will be of type A-6 for events, for which the International Affairs department of the Young Communist League will carry out the relevant procedures. For this reason, each participant must send full name, date and place of birth, sex, occupation, nationality, passport number, date and number of arrival and departure flights from Cuba, one month previous to the arrival.
• Each member of the delegations will assume all expenses in Cuba. The registration fee is $100.00 CUC and covers accommodation, diet, and transportation expenses during the event from June 11th to 14th at 2:00 p.m. Delegates that wish to stay before or after the event shall do it at their own costs.
• IN/OUT transfer will be guaranteed at José Martí International Airport as long as the date and flight number of the arrival to Cuba is notified in advance (1 month).
• All payments will be made in CUC (Cuban Convertible Pesos). Delegates can bring euros or U.S. dollars and exchange them for Cuban currency according to the exchange rate in force at that time. You may visit the website of the National Bank of Cuba for an update on the currency Exchange. Registration fee will only be paid in CUC.
• We inform all delegations that U.S. dollars have a 20% tax when exchanged for CUC. Therefore, euros are recommended.
• In case of passport loss, the holder must go personally to his/her country’s Embassy or Consulate to Cuba to carry out the procedures and request an official safe-conduct or document authorizing him/her, before immigration authorities, to leave Cuba and enter his/her country of origin.
• If a member of a delegation decides to extent his/her visa, he/she must notify de International Affairs department of the Young Communist League which will carry out the mandatory procedures at the offices of Immigration and Residents Abroad.
• In case of plane ticket loss, the holder must go personally to the offices of the airline he travelled with.
• The airport tax to exit Cuba is $25.00 CUC.
• The official languages of the event are Spanish, English, French, and Russian. Other translation possibilities may be analyzed according to the confirmation of delegations speaking other languages.
• If any delegate or organization requires an invitation letter, it will be sent by the International Affairs department of the Young Communist League.
• If the delegation intends to bring donation materials for the Young Communist League, please notify it in advance in order to make the necessary arrangements with the Customs.
• Emergency medical services will be guaranteed. If any delegate suffers from a disease or handicap, please notify it in advance with the abovementioned period of time.
• The program includes general information lectures on the case and updates on the legal process of our Five Heroes and solidarity. The event will be attended by the relatives of the Cuban Five and victims of terrorism.
• Workshops about experiences of the Youth Forum in Solidarity with the Cuban Five.

Союз молодых коммунистов, представляя все молодежные движения и организации учащихся нашей страны, призывает молодежные и студенческие организации и ассоциации и в целом всех молодых людей доброй воли мира объединиться, как это было столько раз, в защиту правды и справедливости.

Борьба за освобождение из тюрем Пятерых героев - это битва за правду и против терроризма. Цель нашей встречи – пробить стену молчания, которой правительство Соединенных Штатов окружило это дело, скрывая его от общественности, обличить манипуляции и ложь в ходе пристрастного и несправедливого суда и потребовать немедленного освобождения наших пятерых братьев.

Империализм продолжает с полным презрением попирать человеческое достоинство, произвольно игнорирует заявления международных организаций и создает всяческие юридические и политические препятствия, мешающие поиску решений для освобождения Пятерки. Только реальная мобилизация общественности позволит оказать необходимое воздействие, чтобы добиться справедливости, за которую сегодня борется наш народ.

Человечество переживает момент чрезвычайной важности для его истории, и мы, молодежь, несем ответственность за эту победу во имя будущего.
Эта кампания будет проводиться ради пятерых людей, воплощающих самые высокие ценности достоинства, альтруизма, отваги и солидарности.

Мы приглашаем всех провести 12-13 июня 2011 года в Гаване, Куба, эту III Международную молодежную встречу солидарности.

Наша молодежь и наш народ с гордостью примет вас здесь, чтобы обменяться опытом и всем вместе обсудить идеи, которые должны умножиться, чтобы добиться победы в этой битве.

ТЕХНИЧЕСКАЯ ИНФОРМАЦИЯ, КАСАЮЩАЯСЯ МЕЖДУНАРОДНОЙ МОЛОДЕЖНОЙ ВСТРЕЧИ СОЛИДАРНОСТИ С ПЯТЕРКОЙ КУБИНСКИХ ГЕРОЕВ, НЕСПРАВЕДЛИВО ОТБЫВАЮЩИХ ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ В ТЮРЬМАХ СОЕДИНЕННЫХ ШТАТОВ

•III Международная молодежная встреча солидарности с Пятеркой будет проходить с 11 по 14 июня 2011 года.
•Прибытие делегатов – 11 июня, возвращение – 14 июня.
•Визы, которые надо будет получить в каждом кубинском посольстве или консульстве, - это визы А-6 на участие во встрече, для этого отдел международных связей Союза молодых коммунистов предпримет необходимые шаги. С этой целью следует за месяц до прибытия прислать имена и фамилии каждого участника, дату и место рождения, пол, род занятий, национальность, номер паспорта, дату и рейс прилета и отлета.
•Каждый участник делегации принимает на себя все расходы по пребыванию на Кубе. Стоимость записи – 100,00 кубинских конвертируемых песо (CUC), что включает стоимость размещения, питания и транспортировки во время встречи с 11 по 14 июня до 14.00 часов. Если делегат желает приехать раньше или остаться после встречи, он должен будет оплатить все свои расходы.
•Гарантируется трансфер IN/OUT из международного аэропорта «Хосе Марти» и в аэропорт, если только заранее (за 1 месяц) будет сообщена дата и рейс прибытия на Кубу.
•Вся оплата производится в CUC (кубинской свободно конвертируемой валюте). Делегации могут привезти с собой евро или доллары США и произвести обмен валюты на Кубе согласно действующему на этот момент обменному курсу. Для получения актуализированных сведений в отношении обменного курса можно зайти на веб-сайт Национального банка Кубы (Banco Nacional de Cuba). Стоимость записи на участие производится только в CUC.
•Все делегации извещаются о том, что при обмене доллара США на кубинский CUC он облагается сбором в 20%, поэтому рекомендуется привозить с собой евро.
•В случае потери паспорта потерпевший должен явиться лично в посольство или консульство своей страны на Кубе, чтобы произвести соответствующие действия и запросить официальный документ или пропуск, разрешающий ему совершить иммиграционные формальности при выезде с Кубы и въехать в свою страну.
•В случае если член делегации хочет продлить срок действия своей визы, он должен обратиться в отдел международных связей СМК, который совершит требуемые формальности в управлении иммиграции и по делам иностранцев.
• В случае потери авиабилета потерпевший должен лично обратиться в офис авиакомпании, на самолете которой он прилетел.
•Налог в аэропорту при выезде с Кубы - 25,00 CUC.
•Официальные языки встречи – испанский, английский, французский, русский. При подтверждении приезда делегаций, говорящих на других языках, будет рассмотрена возможность обеспечения перевода.
•Если какому-либо делегату или организации требуется официальное приглашение, отдел международных связей СМК вышлет его.
•Если делегация желает привезти материалы в качестве дара СМК, просьба сообщить об этом заранее, чтобы должным образом скоординировать это с таможней.
•Гарантируется оказание срочной медицинской помощи. Если какой-либо делегат страдает определенным заболеванием или является инвалидом, просьба сообщить об этом заранее в указанный срок.
•В программе предусматриваются лекции, дающие общую информацию об этом деле и актуализированные сведения о судебном процессе наших Пятерых героев и о движении солидарности. На мероприятиях будут присутствовать родственники Пятерки и жертвы терроризма.
•Мастерские по обмену опытом Молодежной кампании солидарности с Пятеркой.
